ITINERARY OF THE TRIP

What is a training trip on a sailboat?

Combine the feeling of freedom on the open sea with a well thought-out training program. Every day offers new sights: sunny sailing trips, crystal clear baths and charming harbor stops where the evenings end with local dinners and relaxed fellowship.

In the mornings, afternoons - and sometimes even out on the water - Jenny and Emelie lead varied sessions ranging from sunrise runs and HIIT sessions on the beach to mobility and mindfulness at dusk. In between workouts, there's time for sun, swimming and exploring the Mediterranean islands.

You don't need any previous sailing experience - our experienced skipper steers the boat, and a host takes care of all the service and cooking on board. You can therefore focus on enjoying the journey, the exercise and the moments of tranquillity between the islands.

INSPIRING TRAINING FOR ALL LEVELS

Workouts and coaches

The Journey offers 1-2 training sessions per day - an approach that balances energy, strength and recovery. You choose how much you want to participate, but the community grows with each session.

Emelie Ă…kesson - a specialist in running, HIIT and mobility - guides you through cardio sessions and training of various kinds - all to help you find strength and the joy of running. She brings her favorite running routes from previous trips and shows you the most atmospheric places to run at sunrise.

Jenny Fréed - with a background as an elite athlete and coach - shares her expertise in strength training and weightlifting. Her sessions combine technique, strength and pep to take you to the next level. Jenny also offers mindfulness sessions that give you the opportunity to land, reflect and find balance during the journey.

Sweat & Sail is more than a training trip - it's an experience that strengthens both body and mind. The combination of sailing, exercise and wellness makes this trip unique.

Training, sailing and experiences - every day is unique

What does a day at sea look like?

Morning

The day starts with a gentle sunrise run or a dynamic workout. Afterwards, a dip in the blue is often tempting, followed by a large breakfast buffet prepared by your host in the lounge.

In the morning

After breakfast, you'll sail to the next island and enjoy the peace and freedom of the sea. Now there is plenty of time to learn more about sailing, enjoy the surroundings, sunbathe and socialize with newfound friends.

lunch

At lunchtime we dock in a beautiful bay where your host serves a well-prepared lunch. Afterwards, there is plenty of time to sunbathe and swim in the crystal clear waters or explore the surroundings.

Afternoon

After lunch, you sail on to the final destination of the day, which is often a slightly larger port, village or bay with a restaurant. In the afternoon, another workout on the beach or on deck awaits, followed by time for swimming, relaxing or exploring ashore.

Evening

Evenings are rounded off with local dinners in picturesque villages or harborside taverns - where laughter and fellowship are as important as the training itself.

THE BOATS WE SAIL WITH

Comfortable and luxurious accommodation

Experience the Greek and Croatian islands on board two of our most popular sailing boats. During the trip in Croatia we sail on board a Dufour 530 of a newer model year and in Greece you sail instead on a Dufour 48 which is one of our newest boats in the fleet. Both boats have plenty of social spaces and are equipped with amenities such as AC and generator.

Number of guests
The boats take between 10-12 guests and two staff. On board the Dufour 530 there are three bathrooms with toilet and shower and on the Dufour 48 there are three bathrooms with toilet and shower.

Sailing with our monohulls Dufour 530 and Dufour 48 offers genuine sailing pleasure with the classic lute and cozy social areas in the cockpit.
