Greece is a very popular sailing destination and has been for a long time. You have several different starting points and different archipelagos to choose from. This is because Greece is surrounded by both the Aegean Sea and the Ionian Sea.
We mediate sailboats for rent both from Lefkas where you can sail in the Ionian Sea, but also from Athens where you sail in the Aegean Sea. From Athens you can reach the Saronic Islands and the islands of the Cyclades. From Lefkas you can reach the Ionian Islands on the western coast of Greece. In the Ionian Sea, the winds are milder, while they are more variable in the Saronic Islands. Around the Cyclades there are often strong winds.
