What personal data is processed
Personal data that will be processed is data that you provide yourself in connection with ordering a trip, ordering a brochure or newsletter, over the phone, ordering from our retailers, via e-mail, via our website or when visiting us. This includes your name, date of birth, address, e-mail address, telephone number, passport number and place of birth.


We may also process other personal data such as requests for special diets or specific information from you prior to the trip that is relevant to fulfill the trip.


If you consent to the use of non-essential cookies on our websites, information about your use of the websites, the pages you visit and how you interact with the websites may be processed. The cookies used, the storage period and the purpose of each cookie can be found below under Cookie declaration.


Purposes of personal data processing
Personal data that you provide to complete a booking is processed in order for us to fulfill our commitments in ordered travel and additional products and to keep you informed about current travel and the like. Processing of your personal data may also take place in order for us to fulfill obligations under laws, regulations and to handle questions about your travel.


The purpose of data processed after acceptance of non-essential cookies on our websites is to improve our marketing and risk management and to analyze statistics and use of our websites with the aim of providing better travel offers and better service. Personal data may be used in direct marketing to provide various offers of services and/or products from us. If you do not want us to use your personal data in direct marketing, you can unsubscribe from marketing at any time through the link in the newsletter.

Legal basis for processing personal data
The legal basis for processing personal data when you book a trip is the performance of a contract (6(1)(b) GDPR)
When booking travel and additional services, we are required to share your data with our partners to fulfill the commitments we promised in connection with the booking of the trip. The purpose of the processing cannot be fulfilled without our partners receiving and processing the personal data.


When you subscribe to our newsletter, we process the personal data you provide in the contact form on the legal basis of consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR).


Personal data obtained from non-essential cookies is processed on the basis of your consent. Furthermore, we have a legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR) in the processing of this data by our partners to fulfill the purpose of the processing. In assessing the legitimate interest, a balance has been struck based on the fact that third-party providers may have access to pseudonymized personal data to improve their and others' marketing. The use of cookies that enable the processing of personal data requires the consent of the user and the personal data processed does not constitute sensitive personal data, furthermore, the purpose of the processing cannot be fulfilled without our partners accessing and processing the personal data.


Storage of personal data
We store personal data for as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purposes above. Normally, we store your personal data for 2 years from the time your last trip was completed or from the time you had contact with us in general. When you sign up to receive newsletters and offers from us, we save your data until further notice. You can easily unsubscribe at any time via a link in the newsletter or by contacting us by e-mail as above and have all your data removed.
In some cases, we may need to store data for a longer period of time when required by law (e.g. the Accounting Act).


Who may process the personal data
Your personal data is processed by our staff and by our partners for system services and administrative services with whom we have agreements on the protection of personal data, data processing agreements.
Your personal data may also be processed within the travel industry, e.g. by airlines, bus companies, hotels and local partners at the destination. Only information that is necessary for us to fulfill our obligations to you is provided on each such occasion.


Processing of personal data in countries outside the EU and EEA
Depending on the location of your destination and the partners used, your personal data may be processed outside the EU and EEA. For example, even if the final destination of a trip is within the EU/EEA, transport companies and hotels may be based outside the EU/EEA. Only the information needed for the implementation of the trip and other services is provided to partners outside the EU/EEA.


By agreeing to the use of non-essential cookies, information about your use of our websites may be processed by analytics and advertising partners outside the EU/EEA.


To protect personal data processed outside the EU/EEA, we ensure that partners processing the personal data either comply with one of the following requirements in accordance with the GDPR:
- The EU Commission considers that the country has an adequate level of data protection
- The transfer is necessary for the performance of the contract with you (Art 49(1)(b) GDPR)


Your rights to data about you.
You have the right to withdraw your consent to us processing the data you have provided to us at any time. You do this in writing to us by email, booking@moresailing.com


This means that you can also request rectification or erasure of your personal data. Such a request is made in writing to us at the same email as above. Your data will then be corrected or deleted within one month. If you have a current trip that has not been completed or completed, or have an ongoing complaint or similar, the data will be deleted within one month after this has been completed.


You can also contact us with a request to access the registered information we have about you, which we will provide within one month.

Travel conditions Sailing trip

These terms and conditions apply to the crewed sailing trips we offer. Sailing trips are our complete packages that include everything from flight and boat to skipper, host, food, port fees, etc. The conditions apply regardless of whether you booked only a place on the boat or a whole boat.

The combined travel services you are offered constitute a package within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2015/2302. Therefore, you benefit from all EU rights applicable to package travel. More Sailing Seglingsresor AB will be fully responsible for the proper fulfillment of the package tour as a whole. In addition, More Sailing Seglingsresor AB has, by law, a protection to refund your payments and, when transportation is included in the package tour, ensure your repatriation if it or they become insolvent.
