Sailing through the Mediterranean
A memorable journey
Sailing through the Mediterranean
Join More Sailing on an exciting and memorable journey and sail through the Mediterranean. For about three weeks we sail from Croatia to Gran Canaria and experience many beautiful places along the way.
Mediterranean sailing with training
Over two weeks, we'll sail 1100 miles across the Mediterranean - from Croatia to Mallorca - while learning how to prepare a boat, crew and yourself for long distance sailing. This is a combined course and sailing, focusing on real-life conditions and practical elements. You will be on watch, participate in planning, navigation and bunkering - all with the support of Sjöskolans instructors on board. A course for those who want to sail longer - with security and knowledge in the back.
No formal requirements are needed to book this trip - but you should have equivalent coastal ship knowledge or be an active sailor. After sailing, you will not receive a certificate, but you can, in consultation with the instructor, write a test at the Maritime School afterwards.

The boat we sail with
Fountaine Pajot Aura 51
During the sailing we live and sail on Ingrid, an Aura 51 from Fountaine Pajot - one of the largest catamarans in our fleet. The boat is built for long stages and combines high comfort with good sailing characteristics. With generous spaces, flybridge and smart solutions on board, Ingrid offers a stable, safe and comfortable platform for both course and long distance sailing.
