Sailing through the Mediterranean Sea with More Sailing is a great way for those who want to try on a longer sailing trip. You’ll have a skipper and a host who will manage preparations for you during the trip through the Mediterranean. They’ll prepare the boat, cook and plan the sailing stages. However, as a guest you must take part in both sailing and cooking on board. Everyone on board will have a guarding-time in the destinations. To sail with us through the Mediterranean requires that you have documented nautical skills and practical habits to navigate and be on board.
You will experience many wonderful places on the Mediterranean on the way from Croatia to Gran Canaria. However, you must remember that the route can always change depending on weather and winds, so unfortunately we can’t promise any certain staging points or hours. We usually visit the southern part of Italy and the Italian islands, like Sicily and Sardinia. In Spain, we often stop at Fermentera and in the south coast of Spain. Gibraltar will be our last stop before Gran Canaria. Stops last for one to four days. The whole sailing trip is expected to last for three weeks.
More 55 is build in our More Boats shipyard. We know how to build the best boats with our experience in charter business. More 55 is the first model of our shipyard and it’s built to survive longer sailing trips in the Mediterranean and the Atlantic. More 55 has a strong structure, light body and large sails, making it both fast and stable..
